Established in 1990 by Yvonne and Dennis "Brazakka" Wallace, Cape York Helicopters began as 2 person, single helicopter operation run out of the 2nd bedroom. This has now extended to a fleet of ten aircraft, 16 staff members with bases at Cairns and Horn Island and offering an advanced level of service and experience Australia wide. Our International Approval also allows us fast and easy access into P.N.G from our Horn Island base. 

From our head office at Cairns International Airport the company oversees its extensive fleet of both piston and turbine helicopters. Operations are not limited to North Qld and have been as varied as coastal surveys of the Northern Territory, geological sampling in the west and mapping of the Simpson Desert.

Our infrastructure and knowledge of Cape York and the Torres Strait allows us to deliver fast, reliable and economical service to all our clients.
