CAIRNS BASE

The Cairns Base has been in operation since 1989 and provides both a helicopter and administrative headquarters for the company.

Operating from this International transport hub makes access to Cape York's wilderness area easy for Australian and Overseas clients.

HORN ISLAND - TORRES STRAIT BASE

Cape York Helicopters has been operating in the Torres Strait since 1999. The Horn Island Base makes access to both Northern Cape York and the Torres Strait more efficient and much quicker for clients. Both charter and scenic flights are available from Horn Island.

This base allows clients access to vast areas from Weipa to Papua New Guinea in both piston and turbine helicopters. Exclusive fuel dumps and extensive experience working in this magnificent but remote region gives clients confidence to travel safely and quickly in full comfort between isolated islands and mainland locations.
